OUR LITTLE ETHNIC GROUP...THE TRAVELLERS...ARE ALWAYS COMPLAINING THAT THEY DON'T GET ENOUGH RECOGNITION...SO I DECIDED TO DO MY PART I'm not anti traveller...I'm anti thuggery and thuggery is the only way you can describe the activities on these pages.
Remember...respect is something that has to be earned and these guys don't even know how to begin the process.

A CULTURE FOR ANY NATION TO BE PROUD OF!

Nally sued for 'blood money' over shooting
Farmer faces civil action by widow of dead Traveller
FREED Mayo farmer Padraig Nally will have to endure a third court trial over the shooting of Traveller John 'Frog' Ward.
His widow Marie Ward is seeking compensation from Mr Nally, who was acquitted of murder and manslaughter after two trials that divided the nation.
Wrongful death suits, dubbed "blood money" trials, are virtually unprecedented in Ireland, especially against individuals acquitted of a crime by a jury or those who have never faced criminal charges.

Plea to quell Traveller feud...Row could worsen after gun attack
Six year old boy shot
GARDAI and community leaders last night appealed for calm to prevent a further escalation of violence in the Traveller community in which a six-year-old boy and his father narrowly escaped serious injury in a shooting at their home.
Patrick McGinley (31) and his son Christopher were targeted in what is believed to be an ongoing feud between two rival Traveller families in the midlands.

Gardaí were following death crash car
GARDAÍ were following the car in which 30-year-old Martin McDonagh died in a horror crash near Kilgarvan on Sunday night.
Mr McDonagh was a front-seat passenger in the green Citreon Xantia that crashed at a bad bend on the Kilgarvan to Clonkeen road at around 11.30pm. Three other passengers were also in the northern Ireland registered car, one of whom remains seriously injured as a result of the crash.

Hijack gang drove over man's body as he tried to stop their crime spree
(Will the traveller's excuse be that: "We were bringing the car back and the victim didn't see us coming".)

GARDAI are hunting a gang of car hijackers for the brutal murder of a Co Louth man.
Senior officers launched a murder probe following a post-mortem examination which confirmed that victim Aidan Myers (37) died after a car was driven over his body.
Mr Myers, with addresses in Cox's Demesne and Faughart, Dundalk, and a 41-year-old friend, were set upon by a gang of four men, who wanted their car.

Farmer 'shot intruder as he limped away after beating'
(Here was a man minding his own business when he was confronted by two travellers at his isolated farm. One traveller was shot dead and his son fled the scene...brave fella.
According to the Irish Mirror 07-12-06 the dead traveller had 80 convictions and I read in some other paper that his most recent was when he threatened a Garda with a slash-hook.
One sort of wonders...should this guy have been out loose on society.
With 80 convictions this man was a MARAUDER.)

A FARMER charged with the manslaughter of a Traveller shot him, beat him black and blue with a stick and shot him again as he limped away, it was claimed at the Central Criminal Court yesterday.
Padraig Nally (62), of Funshinaugh Cross, Claremorris, in Mayo, has pleaded not guilty to the unlawful killing of father-of-11 John "Frog" Ward after he entered Nally's land more than two years ago.

JUSTICE AT LAST FOR A DECENT MAN

PADRAIG Nally will not spend a second Christmas in jail, a jury decided last night.
That verdict brought the case to a legal close for the 62-year-old bachelor but the legacy of the killing and the bitter social debate it has provoked over the past two years will forever be etched on the public memory.
The bare facts of the shooting dead of John Ward were never disputed.
Nally openly admitted to gardai he intentionally opened fire on Ward twice after the Traveller and his son Tom entered his farm at Funshinagh, Cross, Co Mayo, without invitation in October 2004.

Kidnapped Traveller found safe and well by gardai
(Of course, when this sort of behaviour is high-lighted in the media...It's racism!
These people conveniently forget that the is another race in Ireland...It's called the law-abiding majority!)

A WOMAN kidnapped from her home was last night found safe and well by gardai following a day-long search for her.
Nellie Doran (50), a settled Traveller who lives at Fruithill, Graiguecullen, Co Carlow, was taken from her house by five men brandishing pick-axe handles and baseball bats.
The men forcibly gained entry into the house by using the implements they were carrying.

AND THE BLOOD SPATTERED BRIDE SAT THERE CRYING
From Joe Duffy's Liveline program on RTE Radio One Thur 30-11-06.
Can be heard HERE for the present.
The proprietor of a Function Room in Kildare rang the program to relate what happened during a travellers wedding.
Everything was going fine until about 10.30 in the evening when all hell broke loose among the 140 'guests'.
The terrified staff had to barricade themselves into the private section of the building where upon the guests tried to kick in the door to where they were cowering.
The riot continued for around one hour and when the situation finally quietened down the proprietor put her head above the parapet to see the 'bride' sitting on a chair covered in blood and crying.
The function room was covered in blood and glass and damage to the tune of E1000 was inflicted on the room. Chairs, bottles and glasses were used as weapons and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.
It appears that the wedding and bridemaid's dresses were left on the premises and because they were worth E4000, the organisers had to return some days later to collect them and, in fairness, they paid E1000 compensation and apologised.
The proprietor also related how, on a previous occasion, when there was another traveller wedding booked in, she was contacted by the Gardai to tell her that they had stopped a bevy of travellers somewhere down the country who were on their way to the wedding armed to the teeth with machetes, billhooks and a selection of other weapons.
While the wedding was taking place, the Gardai had to maintain a presence.
Another man also rang the program to relate how he and a colleague were travelling in the town of Ennis at 12.30 in the afternoon when three travellers armed with machetes attacked a woman in a car and proceeded to chop her and the car to ribbons. Traffic was moving slowly, as it does most of the time in Ireland, and when the three brave men heard the Gardai arrive, they ran off.
The caller described how the Micra car was a writeoff, blood was dripping from the machetes and when he and some other people went to check on the girl they found her under the dashboard all cut up and barely alive. On checking afterwards, he was told that the girl survived.
You can bet your bottom dollar that in the unlikely event of these thugs being caught they will only get a slap on the wrist for being barbarians.
Another caller who was the manager of a pub in Dublin described how her place was wrecked by a traveller party.
It appears that one of the group got up to sing and was duly gutted in the neck by a broken bottle by someone who didn't like the song. The usual scenario...blood and glass mixed up in the general destruction...Gardai called and a number of thugs arrested and I'm sure very little consequences to be suffered.
Needless to say this thuggery will go down in 'glorious traveller folklore' as a great night out.

Travellers die younger and leave school earlier than others, says report
(Just wondering...If they didn't try to kill each other so often and went to school for longer, they might all live longer.)

THE shocking reality of life expectancy among Travellers has been highlighted in new research carried out in the West. The Galway Traveller Movement revealed that only 1pc of the Traveller population is made up of people aged 65 or older, compared to 8pc in the overall population.
The figure indicates that Travellers die at a younger age than settled people, according to the Galway Traveller Movement.

Lifestyle change led to Travellers' drug abuse crisis
(Wouldn't you be surprised at travelers getting involved with drugs???)

The report says cocaine is a prestige drug among Travellers. "It's cool, gives you power and generates a lot of income," it was noted.
The study, which interviewed members of the Travelling community, found 45 per cent "perceived there was heroin use in their community".
In the report, contributors claimed that at social gatherings coke and ecstasy are "readily available", to the point where the toilets at wedding functions are avoided because "that's where the dealing is done".

Five robbery suspects are denied bail
(More recognition for our little 'etnic group'...the travellers.
These guys were arrested after a car chase where a helicopter was employed and a number of Garda cars were rammed. There were news reports that E10,000 was recovered.
THEY PROBABLE TOLD THE GARDAI THAT THEY FOUND IT ON THE ROAD AND WERE BRINGING IT BACK!!!)

The five were before Dublin District Court charged with robbing Brendan Canavan of a substantial sum of cash and cigarettes at the Gala Shop, Dun Brinn, Athy.
They are: Myles (Miley) Connors (35) of Glenshane Lawns, Tallaght; William Connors (30) of Dreihid Carbury, Kildare; Thomas Kiely (19) of Ballyowen Lane, Lucan, and Old Manor Road, Cork; Daniel Connors (24) of Sundale Park, Tallaght, and his brother Paddy Connors (27), of Fonthill Road, Clondalkin. Cancelled wedding sparked family 'ambush'
(These 'travellers' can't seem to have any sort of gathering without a visit to the hardware shop first...they seem to be trying to out-do each other in this respect to see who can aquire the more 'exotic' implement. Of course the odd shotgun helps to top off the collection.)

Bride-to-be Martina Cash, from the Bonnettstown Road, discovered her fiance Thomas Cash had cheated on her.
The row took place just outside the village of Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny.
A jury found that the husband and wife and two of their sons had "ambushed" their second cousins, four members of the Cash family from Ballyconra, Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny.
One son was also convicted of serious assaults on two relatives. Edward Cash was found guilty of assault causing harm to his cousins Quigh and Thomas Cash from Ballyragget.
Elizabeth Cash was acquitted of assault causing harm to Andrew Cash. Johnny Cash was cleared of violent disorder; and Michael Cash jnr was cleared of assault causing harm to Quigh Cash and an assault on Edward Cash.

HERE ARE A FEW LITTLE ARTICLES THAT I WROTE IN '04
04/08/04 Indo:
This incident occurred in the post office in Cappagh, Finglas in North Dublin yesterday 03/08/04. It appears that some travellers were fueding as usual and as one of them was leaving by a car park he was approached by five or six others who were armed with machetes and hatchets. The "victim", it appears, immediately came to the conclusion that these people were NOT a reception commitee and ran back into the post office where women, children and old people were qeueing. The attackers followed him in and proceeded to chop him up causing his blood to be smattered all over the premises and customers. Onlookers said that one of his arms was hanging off as he was taken away in an ambulance. The matter is being investigated by the police...YEAH!
TRAVELLER CHAOS IN WEXFORD TOWN
04/06/04 Indo:
70 traveller/itinerant families in over 100 caravans/trailers have camped on some waste ground owned by The Department of the Marine and close to the Riverbank House Hotel in Wexford Town since Tues. 01/06/04. As a result the hotel had to close for a time because of intimidation and 40 part-time staff had to be let go. The 85 full-time staff were asked to take their holidays early. A number of pubs were also forced to close in anticipation of trouble...90% were closed on Wed. night. A meeting of councillors, police and local people was held at The Riverbank House Hotel to discuss the situation and were duly pelted with eggs by some of the travellers. While the police have the power to move them on forcibly, they don't have the manpower resources to do so as it would take 200 of their number and some 30 towing vehicles to do the job. Even if they had the resources, there is nowhere to move them on to. These travellers have been touring around the south of the country for some time after leaving their stronhold in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. Half of the population of this town now comprises the traveller community who own some of the biggest houses in the town and they have taken over four housing estates.
It appears that some of these families are on their way to a small village called Smithy Fen in Cambridgeshire, England where they are causing so much grief that the local inhabitants are refusing to pay council taxes in protest. The British seem to be taking a leaf out of the Irish book in that, their reaction is to threaten the locals with prosecution if they don't pay the taxes.
Again, the authorities here will try every trick in the book to avoid having to implement the legislation, which is in place, to deal with incidents such as this. These people have gotten away with this behaviour for years and each time nothing is done, it only encourages them to take even more liberties in the future. What's going on in Wexford is terrorism in it's purest form...a whole community thrown into chaos because of a group of yobs.
There are TWO different laws in this country:
One for decent law-abiding citizens who can be hauled to court and made an exibition of at the drop of a hat for some minor offence.
And one for the yob/group element who seem to be able to do what ever takes their fancy and give two fingers to the first group.
The same tired old axiom applies: Draw the big salary, take NO RESPONSIBILITY and look forward to the pension.
LATEST...The authorities have made a deal with the travellers and they promise to move out by noon Mon. That will mean almost a week of chaos for the town.
IT GETS BETTER
07/06/04 Radio 1 News:A group of the travellers apparently went to the nearby village of Tagmon where a riot involving locals developed. Six police cars were called to sort out the situation and 19 arrests were made. Those that were arrested proceeded to wreck the police station and those that were injured were taken to the local hospital where staff were threatened and intimidated.
(These people are constantly whinging because they are not welcome in pubs. An introduction to logic wouldn't go astray. Respect is something that has to be earned by behaving within the law and taking other peoples disposition into account...There is no shortcut.)
IT GETS EVEN BETTER
08/06/04 All Media:
Apparently there were 25 people injured in a number of riots and when they arrived in Wexford Hospital they continued to beat the crap out of each other... terrifying the staff in the process.
The riot in Tagmon erupted when the gang from the Wexford set upon some settled travellers from the village.
There was a siege scenario in the village of Killinick when the publicans closed their doors...the police had to be called.
And the best part is that 19 were charged with offences related to the disturbances and were directed to appear in court today and...SURPRISE! SURPRISE!...They never turned up. Anyway, they all pulled out around noon today and locals expressed their dissatisfaction through the media with the handling of the situation by the authorities who should have clamped down on these thugs when they arrived. It seems that this "convention" was orchestrated by the travellers in advance as a sort of a vacation.
(THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS THAT, IF A GANG OF THUGS ORGANIZES A CONVOY OF CARAVANS/TRAILERS AND CLAIMS TO BE MEMBERS OF AN ETHNIC MINORITY GROUP, THEY CAN WREAK HAVOC AT WILL ANYWHERE THEY LIKE...WITH IMPUNITY. NONE OF THESE PEOPLE WILL DO A MINUTE IN JAIL AS A RESULT OR PAY A FINE.)The operation to clean up rubbish, human feces etc will cost the taxpayer thousands of euros and DON'T FORGET THESE PEOPLE PAY NO TAXES.
15/06/04 Indo: Pubs shut in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo since 200 travellers moved into a meat factory car park at the week-end.
( A little clarification...These "travellers" are not a persecuted ethnic group as they claim to be...They are illegal traders who are not in the tax net and, for years, have been allowed to ply their illegal trade unhindered by the Revenue Commissioners. Almost every vehicle owned/driven by these people is 03 or 04 registered and mostly four wheel drives. One has to wonder how this situation is allowed to continue while I and others like me have our tax stopped at source and, worst of all, these taxes go to pay for the cleaning up, policing and rectifying of social upheaval caused by these criminals.)
20/06/04 Sunday Tribune under the heading "Travellers skip while everyone else in Ballyhaunis jumps".
35 trailers moved into the Ballyhaunis car park on Sat 12/06/04 and didn't leave until Fri 18/06/04 to go to another local site. They created the usual havoc for the local community including breaking some windows in muslim houses which are located near the meat factory as is the islamic mosque. 20% of the towns population is now muslim. They payed for the window damage. It appears that the factory owners parked two truck loads of rotting meat on the site in an effort to urge the travellers to move on.
All commercial activity in the town has been interrupted including pubs having to close early and Supermacs have reported that they have pissed and shit on the floor of their toilets. Nearly everyone who was interviewed by the Sun Tribune reporter refused to give their names for fear of reprisals and the trucks used to move the rotting meat after the criminals had left had no number plates displayed. In fairness, the criminals paid for some garbage skips to clean up their mess after they left.
(AGAIN, OUR PATHIC LEGAL SYSTEM, WHO CAN'T GET THE FINGER OUT, HAS BEEN GIVEN THE TWO FINGERS BY THE CRIMINALS.)

PUBS CLOSE IN TEMPLEMORE 31/05/04 Indo:
The funeral of Michael McInerney, a traveller/itinerant (It's not "politically correct" to call this ethnic group "knackers" any more.) took place in Templemore, Co. Tipperary last week. This unfortunate man fell into the Killea Reservoir while washing a horse. It appears that some altercation took place in the Templemore Arms Hotel where a group of funeral goers were drinking which prompted the owner to close the bar. Most of the other publicans in the town decided to follow suit. Drink seems to have the same effect on these people as firewater had on the Indians. The victims nicknams was "PHYCHO" which helps to embroider the picture.

BRAVEHEART RIOT. 11/12/03 A name given to this battlbetween two factions of the "Traveller" community by the police who were involved in the incident in July 2001.Apparently this delightful event took place on a green in Galway City where, ranged on one side were about 70 members of the Ward family and on the other about 30 members of the Donovan family. The police had to drive their cars between the fighting groups to keep them apart. ( No Scott Medals for this performance.) The weapons seized included slash-hooks, pickaxe handles, machetes and nail studded clubs. A number of these delightful people were charged with public order offences and got the same old anaemic punishment...a suspended sentence. One of them is shown in photo in the Indo giving a victory salute...society gets the "Two Fingers" again. TRAVELLER FAMILIES TERRORIZE ROSCOMMON TOWN Same old story with this "life form"...A funeral and a riot afterwards...Number of ordinary peoples vehicles damaged during the terror. All the usual weapons used...AND NO ARRESTS!!! ( An incentive for this sort of asshole-ism to be repeated.)

DID YOU HEAR ABOUT TRAVELLER RIOT THAT WAS INTERRUPTED...
A wedding broke out!
Another aspect of traveller 'culture' is the racing of terrified ponies in heavy traffic while pulling a sulky with the 'rider' lashing it with a whip. Of course, these ponies understand the 'culture' and just love being a part of it.
THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY QUICK TO PLAY THE 'RACISM' CARD WHEN IT SUITS THEM.
IT WOULD SERVE THEM WELL TO REMEMBER THAT THE MAJORITY OF LAW ABIDING CITIZENS IN THIS COUNTRY ARE A 'RACE' ALSO AND DESERVE TO BE PROTECTED FROM GANGS OF TRAVELLER MARAUDERS.
And before their supporters start their usual railings, they should look up past editions of newspapers and ask ANY rural dweller about travellers.

Funny Videos!!!
