ACHIVES...MONTH BY MONTH COMENTARY ON THE REAL IRELAND

JANUARY 2007
OUTRAGE
Evening Herald 29 Jan 2007
HSE (Health Dept.)to spend €5,000 to bring gangsters body home.
This thug, Shane Coates , terrorised West Dublin as one of the leaders of the Westies and was instrumental in causing the meager resources of the Dept. of Justice to be wasted trying to curtail his activities. He was eventually done in by other thugs in Spain and now our Government are to pay to have his body brought home for burial.
I bet none of his victims got €5,000.
Why don't they give him a state funeral and bury him beside our beloved leader, Charles J Haughey, while they're at it?
Welcome to Ireland where there's no bottom to the 'reservoir of stupidity'.

SCANDAL IN HEALTH SERVICE
Money is everything...Patients are nothing
...
CAN you have your cake and eat it? Yes, you can. At least if you are a hospital consultant and you happen to have a gold-plated, category 2, contract of employment with the State. There you get the benefit of secure State employment, you can look forward to a lucrative public service pension on retirement, and you also have a right to engage in private practice as well: all at the same time.
(Don't forget...Our government have had 10 YEARS to fix this.)
